Holiday Make Up Look: Bobbi Brown's Modern Symphony Eyeshadow Palette

We are neck-deep into the holiday season, and with Thanksgiving now out of the way, let’s focus on looking extra cute to sit in the living room with our immediate family. Since I love starting with the eyes first in all my makeup looks, let me introduce the Bobbi Brown Modern Symphony Eyeshadow Palette. This smokey mauve palette comes with 8 ultra-blendable eyeshadows that look amazing on any skin tone. This palette was inspired by the beautiful lights and tones of the holiday season in New York City that easily transfers from tin to eyes with just a few swipes of your finger. I went in on the outer corner of my eyes with the deep moody shade, Modern Symphony, and blended its sparkling sister, Sugar Plum, in on my eyelid to create a super easy smokey eye that will bring subtle holiday cheer to all. I then used a little bit of the shade Pink Bubbly on my inner corner to bring a bit of brightness to the look. It reminds me of how the stat illuminates at the top of a perfectly decorated Christmas tree.

Now that this gorgeous and super easy eye look is finished, I used some of my all time make up favorites to finish off this look.

My absolute favorite full coverage foundation, Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear 550 SUE C, paired with Laura Mercier Translucent glow setting powder in medium deep, gave me a smooth finish that glowed. I also used Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion to make the Sugar Plum shade stand out more on my eyelids. Just apply a small amount and let it dry for a few seconds, then apply your shadow. I am in love with how the Nars Powermatte Lip Pigment in the shade London Calling brought my entire look together. I set my face with Urban Decay’s All-Nighter Long Lasting Setting Spray. It’s not pictured, but I can vouch for how great this setting spray works for those who love to wear their make up looks all day long.
